My mother being the resourceful woman she is, came across a summary of the new episode that has sent me reeling. Not a good idea when I was just about to hit the sac. Now I'm all hyped up again. SHe found this at wikipedia:
Aang has a dream that he is in "Avatar Spirit", but is killing people randomly. He wakes up, at the Northern Water Temple, and the group sets off for Ba Sing Se. Meanwhile, Zuko is growing steadily more upset as the 3 year mark of his banishment draws nearer. Iroh tries to console him to no avail. Aang and the gang meet a Earth Kingdom General who believes Aang is wasting time learning bending and should just try to trigger his Avatar Spirit and go after the Fire Nation. Aang feels so guilty he agrees. Zula, Zuko's sister, shows up and he and Zula fight.
