Why would GOD need guns!? Why would JESUS even consider using them?! If GOD was to ever to use a weapon in a fight, which fighting in the first place doesn't sound like him, it would be either a toothpick, or a weapon of honor, like a sword

Gangsta Jesus? I`m not a religious person(anymore-since I was a christian-conservative up until I was 18)but that sounds like a contradiction,to me.I don`t blame religious people for getting offended by this and I can see why.But that`s something great art should be able to do,too.Offend people.Make them uncomfortable.Make them think and so on.Besides,it`s not like this is the first time,someone has had an view of what Jesus might have been like or is like,that offended others-and that others strongly disagreed with, I`m sure it won`t be the last.

Having reading most of The Bible,I should say that The Old Testament of The Good Book has just as much,if not more sex,violence and death,as a lot of R-Rated Movies.But Jesus was not a Gangsta. I`m not going to get into the debate of what color Jesus would have been,if he really existed or if he was a Galilean Jew or what else he might have been.Because I don`t know and don`t pretend to know.The artist who did this,doesn`t know,either.And if God is real,if Jesus is real,would the race of Jesus really matter?Should it really matter? Obviously,it`s something that matters to some,but if he does exist,I don`t think it should matter.
The Crucifix around the neck of ''Gangsta Jesus'' makes for an interesting touch,since a lot of Rap Artists(and Gangstas-since not all Rappers are Gangstas and criminals and not all Rappers rap about that stuff) would wear one-and some Athletes,Celebrities,Entertainers and so on.Personally,this isn`t really to my taste,but it was done well.I can still admire the talent of the artist,which I do, and I respect that others have the right to their own opinions.People can still disagree and be civil about it.
