It's up to Miura. The whole Berserk world has been through a total change lately and since magic and spiritual energy are now in full flux, we don't know what's going to happen. Not to mention, maybe Guts won't be going after Griffith right away, especially if the Moonchild is his kid, as is often conjectured.

My own personal belief is that there will be a second timeskip after they reach for Skellig and Casca gets cured. And maybe, just maybe, during that time Casca will be able te REALLY recover from her ordeal and train herself again. But who knows?
