I'm pretty sure the TF fandom collectively shat bricks when Blackarachnia was revealed as Elita One in Transformers Animated, and what I'm sure will be Prime's main source of romantic tension for the series (and here I thought the only hints of romance we would see would be from Rachet and Arcee!).
This whole thing between Blackarachnia and Optimus Prime made me grin like a maniac, because I could only imagine the shitstorm that would hit when word reached Maximal Base. I mean, sure, Blackarachnia and Prime are different people in a completely different UNIVERSE when this happens... ...but you try tellin' that to Silverbolt and Cheetor.  |

I loved that episode. Even though I adore SilverBolt.
I love the entire Alita-1 and Prime, so I'm perfectly happy with Prime and BA. I'll be torn if they somehow bring Bolt in later, but as is, looks like mostly G1 bots are being re-worked.
