Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I dunno about YOU all, but I swear to God the Avatar theme song gets me so PUMPED. I feel like I could workout to that song.  Mike and Bryan, please sell me an Avatar soundtrack. I PAYZ U GUD MONEY!!

There was so much to squee about (SPOILERS AHOOOOY), like Jun, Ninja!Katara and Ninja!Zuko, the most incredible animation sequences...um...EVER, Jun, Ozai in all his regality...and bunlessness?, fighting, Jun, Aang chargin' his lazerz...

And of course, PSYCHO!Azula.  I can't WAIT till she gets hers. Normally, I love villains and root for them, but I'm just dyin' to see her get knocked down a peg or a dozen.

By the way, who was that girl in pink who was fighting Ty Lee and giving that one guard the heave-ho? I don't recognize her. Is it Suki?

But all that aside...someone make the hurting stop. School is KILLINGZZZZ me.  Having a ton of great ideas and no time to execute them makes me really, really unhappy.  Come summer, things should be moar awesome for me. In the meantime...

Oh my goodness. Ok I'm really, really excited for PSYCHO!Azula!!! Especially becuase of how there's a clip that shows her angry/teary eyed and throwing a brush (or something) at the mirror with a reflection of (who I'm pretty sure is) her mother! Also becuase at the part where Zuko's falling with someone else that person looks like Azula! But who I really want to see is Koh! Such a creepy awesome spirit!
