Anyway, I can't tell you what to expect next. If I can use my sister's scanner, you kids will have a crapload of gagstrips coming in. If not, then you'll get a crapload AFTER Spring Break...though I might be pressed for time to color them, once the semester starts again...OY.
Notice how HARD I fail at keeping my promises to draw moar Beast Wars and Megabyte pictures, even tho I keep saying how I'm gonna do 'em? Yeah, it's coz I suck and I'm too lazy to collect reference. FAIL. Let's see if I can rectify that over Spring Break too.

4) Yes, despite my whining about the show's style, I DO get up at 8:00 on Sundays to watch Transformers Animated. And I usually don't regret it.
5) I visit Encyclopedia Dramatica way more than any self-respecting person with any sense of decency should.
6) I get paint EVERYWHERE. There's some in my hair right now.
7) The majority of the nightmares I remember contain velociraptors and bathrooms.
8) My manga is sharply divided between the outrageously shoujo (Hana Yori Dango, Hot Gimmick, Peach Girl), and the Manly-Man type (Blade of the Immortal, Berserk, Vagabond...I'm also a HUGE fan of Hajime no Ippo! ^////^). The only one that's really in between is Basara...which I wish more people read so I could fantard with them over it.

Sooo, who's your favorite character? There are so many awesome ones that I wind up going back and forth between a bunch of them. ^^
And Blade of the Immortal and Beserk. Two beautifully gory series. Mmmmm.
Basara is AMAZING. My fave characters are Ageha (but truly, who does not love him? He's such a strong character and goes through so much!) and Asagi (I find him a rather twisted, complex, and sadistic character. They talk about Zuko's struggle between good and evil intriguing, but I find Asagi's far more so!). But I've also been known to have a soft spot for most of the Red King's underlings too.
Oh man, I just got book 18 of BOTI...when is Manji breaking out? ;_; And goddamn if Berserk doesn't tug on my heartstrings every time!
Oh man, another Asagi fan! That's rare, a few of my friends who read the series hate his guts, and I"m always going, "But, but . . . look at his cute hats!" You're right, he's such an amazingly complex character, and I loved watching how he slowly changed through knowing Sarasa. Though my favorite moments had to be the times Hijiri and Nachi took him under their wing and tormented . . . um, picked on him. Amazing what friends and trust can do for a person. He's so intelligent and sly, too, and hides it so well.
Ahhh, Ageha. I think he was the central most tragic character in the series. He is so strong, goes through so much, and in the end? Really got stepped on by fate. Bad Fate, no donut.
I don't think Manji breaks out until volume 20ish, but I can't really remember. The site that was doing issue summaries (nothing in depth, just general plot points) shut down. ;_; Poor Manji, they really up the blood and guts bit with this particular story arc. O_o
I actually have to take Beserk in small doses so that I don't overload and get depressed. I'm really not that far into the series because of it, sadly, but it's so gorgeous and so complex. Such a great cast of characters.
Ageha...he...he cut his hair and took it in the ass and STILL didn't get the girl. And he deserved Sarasa waaaaaaay more than the Red King.
Noooooo Manji needs to hurry up and get out of there. BOTI is almost getting as depressing as Berserk.

Oh man, the White King. I never really know how to feel about her. Sympathy because of what was done to her, but at the same time rather angry for what she did to Asagi. Talk about sins of the father. I loved the shot of little Muratake in the background sidestory

The White King was so messed up...both tragic and revolting to look at. She got screwed over in life so badly...and ended up one of the most vicious villains in the series, especially in terms of mindf*ckery. Poor Asagi. O_O
Kinda makes me wanna draw a pic of all four kings...know a good place for Basara pics? There are so few websites out there.
Muratake! I'd say The Duo took quite a liking to him too...much to his flustered dismay. Pineapple-head sometimes got a little handsy, methinks.
